Pumpkin Patch

I took the kids and meet some of my family at our favorite pumpkin patch. The kids had a blast. Taylor was busy, she moved about 20 of the smaller pumpkins and made her own pile of them in the walk way.

Riley and Addy

Riley and Addy love to color and draw. I just thought these were cute pictures of them drawing together. Riley is striking a manly pose and yes Addy is sticking the pen up her nose. When they were finished Addy had drawn all over her paper and her face.

My Girls...

My Girls are so cute and funny. They get into everything together and they love each other. For a while now Taylor has been climbing into Addy's bed and sleeping with her. I love going in each night to see how they fell asleep together. Well Addy finally got tired of sharing the crib with Taylor, so now Addy sleeps in Taylor's twin bed and Taylor sleep's in Addy's toddler bed.

Taylor's first day of preschool

Monday September 8th was Taylor's first day at Preschool. She goes to class 2 days a week for 3 hours each day. For the first day I got to go with her so she could get used to the class. She meet some friends and played with the toys. After about 40 min. there she was ready to go.
Wednesday was her first real day of preschool. They said she did well and only cried a few times. So hopefully she'll get used to it and love school.

Sisterly love!

It's really cute to see Taylor and Addy really starting to play together. They are so funny they both try to fit into the car together and then they were being so sweet. They are true sister's one minute they are picking on each other and the next they love each other.

Rice Anyone?

Cute little Addy got into the pantry and had fun with the rice. She was throwing it up in the air.

Riley's first day of 1st grade!

Riley was so excited to start school. All summer long he was asking when he could go to school. He was so excited and nervous that morning he didn't want to eat breakfast. It was a lot of fun taking him to school and seeing how excited he was because he gets to eat lunch there. It's funny because he likes that he gets to go to 3 recesses!

Fun Aunt Rachel

One Sunday Rachel came over for dinner and afterward we went outside to play. Rachel was hilarious. She got on Taylor's bike and tried to ride it. Then the kids wanted to get on with her. It was funny to watch them. Then Taylor found a lamp shade and was walking around with it on.

Riley's 6th birthday party

Riley had a great birthday party. We hired a face painter and rented an inflatable train. The train was amazing, it had an obstacle course in it and a slide. The kids really enjoyed the face painting also. It was fun to see that even some of the adults had their face painted and most of them played in the train. It was a really fun day. I can't believe that Riley is 6.

Happy 4th of July

We had a great 4th. Riley and Steve went to see Wall-e and to lunch with Grandma, Grandpa Powell and Rachel. After that we went to Toots and Pops house and had a BBQ with the family. As you can see by the time we took this picture of the kids they were tired. After this picture Steve took the girls home to take a late nap so they would stay up for fireworks. We'll the girls had a better idea, they never woke up. They were so worn out they slept the whole night. I felt bad because we go to the Bee's game on the 4th and watch the game and fireworks. Steve stayed home with the girls and Riley and I went with my family to the game. Before the game Riley and Pops got into a water fight. It was fun to watch. When we were younger that was our tradition to have a water fight every 4th of July. I'm glad Riley and my Dad kept that tradition this year. The game was a lot of fun. Riley really had a great time with his cousin Sophia, Aunts,Uncle and Toots and Pops. Hopefully next year the girls won't sleep threw it.

Hilton Head Island 2008

We recently went on a family vacation with my side of the family. We love going to Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. We always have a great time there and we all love spending time together. I made a slide show of some of our pictures and adventures while we were there. I also posted a few of my favorite pictures from the trip. We all had a great time and wish we were still there. We just wanted to thank my Mom and Dad for planning this trip and making it happen so we could all make it. We appreciate all the support and love that you give each one of us. We will remember this forever. Much love to them and to the rest of the family!
